“Are you sure you want
to do this?” “Yes! It will be fun, right?” “I don’t know? What if they ignore
you again?”
“Err mm, Anna? So, do
you want to join we or not?” asked Alex hesitantly. “Huh? Oh! Sure, it must be
fun. I can’t wait,” replied Anna with a high pitch sound. Alex plastered a
smile on his face and swiftly walked away and swiped to his gang.
“Did you guys saw it? She’s
talking to herself again! What a weird girl!” Unfortunately, the words uttered
from Alex’s mouth had been heard by Anna who was attempt to ask him about the venue
of the birthday party. When Alex turned around, he found that Anna was left the
room. He thought that Anna didn’t hear his spiteful word.
Anna squeaked herself
into her bed. Tear drops streaming down her rosy cheeks and then wet her
blanket. She wondered why they always mock her. She didn’t know if she can face
them and the spiteful words anymore. It was not the first time she was teased
by her wicked and corrupt classmates. But this time wasn’t the same. That
morning, the one who fooled her was her best friend (probably) and the only one
she trusted in the school.
Now, nobody will accompany
her except her own shadow. It seems like she was the only one who would not
betray her and made fun of her.
“So, don’t you want to
revenge? He cheated on you remember?” a suddenly voice came into Anna thought.
“Who are you?” asked Anna softly.
“I’m your only friend, Ann. You should listen to me. I wouldn’t hurt
you. Trust me.”
“So, what should I do?”
That night, Anna didn’t
sleep not even a minute. She was talking to Ann throughout the night. It seems that
they were planning something special for Alex as his birthday present.
The next day, Anna dressed
up graceful to attend Alex’s 17th birthday party. It will be the big
moment in his life and Anna, too.
